About Us
Aircon India South is a second-generation family-run business, having started operations in Kochi in 1999. We began under the guidance of our Managing Partner, Mr P.V.Alex, who retired from Carrier Aircon Ltd as a Regional Director, and are now under the leadership of Mr.George Alex, who resigned from his job in a Fortune 100 company in the USA and returned to Kochi to assist in the running of the business. Mr Varghese Mathews leads our service organization which is a separate entity, Hi-Tech Refrigeration Services Pvt Ltd.
From a small team of dedicated professionals and staff catering to the Ernakulam area, we have grown into a 12 Cr group operating across the breadth and length of Kerala, setting benchmarks in design and execution of HVAC projects in the state. Our range of services includes comfort airconditioning for human-inhabited spaces, precision airconditioning for data centres, clean room HVAC for the medical industry, and bus and reefer airconditioning for the transport industry.
We are a Sales & Service Dealer for Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Ltd, and are also a Platinum member of the prestigious Willis Carrier Club Dealer (WCCD) group, a group of of elite and select Carrier dealers across the country.

1. HVAC Design & Execution

2. Precision Airconditioning
We are a channel partner for Vertiv Energy’s Thermal Management Solutions, who are the leaders in Precision Airconditioning, commonly used for data centres and other mission-critical infrastructure facilities.
3. Clean Room HVAC Solutions
Medical Clean Rooms have specific HVAC requirements, such as permitted contamination levels, specific ventilation requirements, specific return air handling aspects, etc. We are a pioneer in Kerala for executing Clean Room HVAC projects, and have several projects under our belt, including the prestigious Regional Drug Testing Laboratory, Kakkanad, Govt of Kerala.
4. Bus and Reefer Airconditioning
We are experts at commercial transport air-conditioning, such as bus coaches and food transport reefer trucks. We provide installation services as well as provide time-critical service in a manner that avoids food items perishing and maintaining the integrity of food supply chain.
5. AC Service and Repair
Our experienced and qualified service technicians will take care of all your AC service needs, whether it be residential split ACs or large commercial HVAC products.
6. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
We undertake industry-standard AMCs for commercial organisations (as well as residences), and provide the peace-of-mind that comes with entrusting the HVAC system in your premises to capable hands.

Our dedicated team of leaders at AirCon India South
Mr P.V.Alex is a veteran in the HVAC industry with over 50 years experience in top corporate entities such as Carrier and Voltas. He retired as a director from Carrier, and subsequently started Aircon India South in 1999. Since then, he has provided the organization with the focus and the leadership it needed to flourish and thrive. Under his leadership, the group achieved a turnover of more than Rs 10 cr in the last financial year.

Group Director
Mr George Alex has an engineering background along with an MBA. He used to work with Abbott Labs, California, US, in Systems Engineering, leading a team that worked on manufacturing automation. He along with his family returned back to India in 2014, to join the family-run business and take it forward to new pinnacles. He is head of Sales and Projects at Aircon India South, and is committed to his customers, vendors, contractors and employees to providing a hassle-free experience when dealing with the company.

Mr Varghese Mathews is the Managing Director of Hi-Tech Refrigeration Services Pvt Ltd, a sister concern of Aircon India South, handling all our service requirements. Mr Varghese was previously with Johnson & Johnson, and has now been leading the service wing for more than 12 years. He is extremely customer-focused and his team is spread across the state to respond to service requirements in a timely manner. Hitech Refrigeration is also into transport refrigeration, both passenger and goods vehicles.
